Time flies when you're having fun

This is our tulip garden and below are carrots hanging from our tree. Jason hates it but I love it! He is angry at me about these!
The boys planted tomatoes, carrots, corn, and pumpkins. Don't you just love their too small overalls? But anytime you plant you have to wear overalls. Even though Jason wouldn't wear any I got the boys in a pair. James is first and then Thomas.

Here are the boys and their riding lawn mower.

We had a surprise party for my Aunt Betty and Uncle Wayne. Myself, then Thomas and last James holding my brothers baby Mollie.

St. Patrick's Day is my Mom's birthday. Here she is posing with her prized possessions!

We met the girls at Disneyland. They are all growing too fast!

For Valentine's day we got a heart pizza and the boys wanted these car squeaky toys. We are so glad they went to a good use.

The last pictures were taken when we went to Atascadero. We visited a monarch butterfly migration spot. We visited elephant seals who were in the process of giving birth and others were mating. We also explored the beach. We visited our friends the Lakjer's and Thomas is swinging from their back hill. What a beautiful view. Thanks for the good time.

Boys will be boys!

Our must stop whenever we go up this way!
We have been busy. Much more ahead these next few months stay posted!

Apples of Gold

I am in an Apples of Gold Bible study on Saturdays and it consists of older women training younger married women with children on kindness, loving your husband, loving your children, submission, purity and hospitality. They also teach us a crowd pleasing recipe each week. The study is now coming to a close and we are putting together baskets for each mentor. The girl in charge said make something creative and inexpensive. The nerves hit because I struggle when it comes to creativity. This is my result I am proud because they turned out okay and I hope it shows them how meaningful they are. If anyone can get the opportunity to take one of these six week bible studies do so. It's wonderful!

Urgent Prayer Request!

My Aunt Betty has just been diagnosed with bile duct cancer. Please pray for her healing. She starts chemo on Feb 16th at the city of hope. Please pray also for strength for her daughter Heather and Husband Wayne. I will keep everyone posted, but please keep her on your prayer list. Thanks!

Awarded

Just wanted to share that Jason was named Fireman of the year for the City of Pasadena. I am proud as he worked so hard to get the job and it shows his dedication and how hard he works. They will have a banquet where he will be awarded this honor. I can't believe he got this award and never had to parade in a bathing suit or answer questions!

If you go to our April 28 2009 post you will see us at the banquet last year where he was awarded a medal for a call they ran on.

Need I say more?

Mammoth Sized Adventure

I was so disappointed because most of our Mammoth pictures came out blurry. But I guess it was better to have a great time and bad pictures than a terrible time and good pictures! We had a blast in Mammoth. We celebrated Christmas with Jason's folks and Daniel and Jenn (All of those pics were too dark). Here are the boys donning their snow bib before we go snowmobiling. Which they loved and ask everyday when we will do it again! Here is Thomas ready to go.

James rode with Jason's parents and had a blast! His smile was from ear to ear the whole time.

Snowman made when we took a break from snowmobiling to eat lunch.

Sled run made in Jason's parents back yard. James is ready to go.

Thomas loved eating the snow. Here he is enjoying it!
Jason sledding down the run.

Yes, that's me!

Thomas made it down alive and barreled into my nose in the process which gave me a tremendous bloody nose and ended our sledding adventure for the day.

We were also able to dog sled. It was so much fun. Here is Thomas with Marcia and Craig.

We had a great time and beautiful weather. We can't wait to visit again.

Introducing

I'd like to introduce my niece Mollie Mcguire Ward. Kathy gave birth to a 7lb 14 oz girl today. You have to wear a mask inside the hospital so swine flu in not spread. Here is my brother and I posing with our masks. Below is Mollie.
