Yes, the boys are excited to have their tonsils out because they suffer from tonsillitis every other month. They gave the boys a mask to play with so they were familiar with it before they went into the operating room.
James is the one with the cap on. In this picture he had versed and was in a happy place!
Here is James as he is being wheeled into the operating room. James went first.
Here is Thomas with versed on board too. He kept asking why the TV was in 3D because he saw 2 of everything. He asked the nurse if she had 3D glasses so he could watch Mickey better. This is him before being wheeled into the operating room.
Here is Thomas in recovery. He woke up and was very tired.
Here is James in the recovery room. He cried a lot when he came out. He kept crying and said I slept through the whole thing. He was also worried about Thomas. He did not calm down until he saw his brother. The ENT said that both boys' left tonsil was horrible and having them taken out was inevitable. Now the healing can begin and we can be thankful they won't get this again.
Here they are upon discharge.
Thomas and then James resting comfortably at home.
Thanks again to all who prayed. Everything went smooth and the staff was great. Please keep praying for their healing and that there will be no infection. GOD IS GOOD!
