Love is in the air!

Thomas is smitten over Micaela and James over Grace. Today we went to Disneyland with them. Here they are all together on the carousel and posing with Minnie and Mickey.

Sunflowers

Before Jason cuts them down I wanted to show you our sunflowers.

Bon Voyage and Back!

On July 19th we left on a Mexican cruise via Royal Caribbean. We were celebrating Jason's Grandpa Stadell's 80th Birthday. My birthday happened to fall during the same time so we were able to celebrate that too. Above is a picture of us at the port right before my dad was almost tackled by a female police officer for taking a picture. Word of advice DO NOT TAKE A PICTURE AT THE PORT WAIT UNTIL YOU GET ON THE BOAT.
Once we made it to our room we were greeted by chocolate covered strawberries from Josh and Kathy and birthday decorations from Marcia and Craig.

Here is a picture of us before the muster drill.

The boat we were on had an ice skating rink. Here are the boys getting ready to skate. We did not take any on the ice as we had to hold the boys with both hands to prevent us from falling. But we had a great time! There was also an ice show at night. The boys were picked to ride on a train in the show. They had a blast. Unfortunately, we forgot our camera and didn't get any pictures of the show. Hopefully some family member will email them to us and I will post them if anybody got good pictures.

Here are the boys all dressed up for formal night! The ship took a great family picture but I don't have a scanner so you'll have to see them in person.

Every night there was a new creature on our bed. Here are the boys posing with one.

Our first stop was Cabo San Lucas. We tendered at sea so we had to take a boat to shore. It was hot! Here is Grandma and Tommy on the boat. We just shopped around the island and went back to the boat early. It was Hot.

Our next stop was Mazatlan. We took a taxi and went to lunch with the family. Below are the balloon hats they made us at lunch. The boys had a blast. After lunch we went back to the boat because not only was it hotter in Mazatlan but it was also humid.

Everyday we enjoyed the pool! Above is Thomas swimming and below is James. These pictures were taken at our last stop in Puerto Vallarta. Did I mention that this was the hottest stop. 113 degrees not including humidity! But we had a great time. Thank goodness for the pool. The best thing was the boys wanted to be in the pool all the time.

The pool also had a rock climbing wall. Here is Jason climbing the wall. The boys wanted to climb but you had to be 6. We were so busy enjoying the boat and having a good time that we forgot to take more pictures. If any family members send us pictures I will post them. Two great vacations and well behaving boys are Jason and I truly blessed or what!

Broken Nose

Today Thomas got up with a stuffy nose. He proceeded to try and try to breathe through it. When he couldn't he walked over to me and said, ,"Mommy my nose is broken." I thought that was too cute to pass up putting on the blog.

The Finale

Today we started at the Pike's Fish Market in Seattle. The boys got to hold a dead fish. We were glad it was them and not us.
Uncle Donnie, Grandpa and Thomas then James.
The fish Market had a carousel. We bought tickets for both of the boys and Thomas got scared and decided not to go. So James enjoyed the carousel!
Here is a picture of the boys posing with Justus. My cousin has better pictures on her blog of the three. If you want to see them www.fuccillofamily.blogspot.com
The road Home! We had a great trip. The boys flew and traveled great. Thanks again to the family up in Washington we had a blast. Can't wait to come back!

The Fourth of July

For the 4th of July We went to the Fort Lewis Army base. The boys got to try a liitle rock climbing, as well as a pony ride. After the base we went to my cousin Danny's house to swim, eat, and light off fireworks. Below is a picture of the boys using floaties for the first time. THey loved them and swam around the pool. Future olympic swimmers maybe? We didn't take a picture of the Fireworks but the boys had a great time watching them.

Sunken Ship

Here we are starting the day with a STEEP hike to a suken navy ship in Dupont, Washington. This was one of the best things we did.

During low tide this sandbar appears and there is a sunken ship at the end of it. Once the tide comes in, it completely covered. Below is my Uncle. Humorous as usual.

We had to cross two sets of train tracks. Here is Andy holding the boys while they balance on the rails.

Once we got down to the sandbar the boys were able to collect shells, hold crabs and starfish, see clams, and we even saw seals swimming around in the water. There was also jellyfish laying on the sandbar. The nicest thing was we were the only ones there enjoying God's creations. Here is Thomas showing off his crab and James sharing his shells.

Don't worry there is more to post from our Vacation. Check back tomorrow!

Chugga Chugga Choo Choo

Today we took a what was supposed to be a 2 hour train ride from Elbe, Washington, to see the sights around Mt. Rainer. The actual trip wound up being over three hours. We had a fantastic time though. The sights were beautiful and the boys thoroughly enjoyed the train. Here are pics from the trip.

The bridge we went over
We ended the day with a Bar-b-que at Sarah's house and the James enjoyed the slip and slide that Andy set up for them.

Northwest Trek

One of our stops was the Northwest Trek. We saw every animal but the moose, so we took our picture by the statue instead. We saw bears, deers, wolves, foxes, cougars, buffalo, elk and more. There was a tram ride as well as a walking tour. It was amazing because the animals were so close and alert. A must stop the next time we are in Washington. The day ended with Uncle Donny, Grandpa and Dad taking the boys to a river to throw rocks. What fun.

Off to Seattle

We are home from Seattle and had a wonderful time. It was great to meet Justus and we were busy every day! One of the best things was eating my Aunt's Korean food. I want recipes. I will start with the plane ride. Here are some pics of the boys. The band-aid on James' ear was because they hurt. We tried to give them gum to chew to relieve the ear pain but they kept swallowing it. I found out a band aid worked much better. We did so many fun things, I will post the highlights as I sort through the pictures stay tuned.
