Apples of Gold
I am in an Apples of Gold Bible study on Saturdays and it consists of older women training younger married women with children on kindness, loving your husband, loving your children, submission, purity and hospitality. They also teach us a crowd pleasing recipe each week. The study is now coming to a close and we are putting together baskets for each mentor. The girl in charge said make something creative and inexpensive. The nerves hit because I struggle when it comes to creativity. This is my result I am proud because they turned out okay and I hope it shows them how meaningful they are. If anyone can get the opportunity to take one of these six week bible studies do so. It's wonderful!

Urgent Prayer Request!
My Aunt Betty has just been diagnosed with bile duct cancer. Please pray for her healing. She starts chemo on Feb 16th at the city of hope. Please pray also for strength for her daughter Heather and Husband Wayne. I will keep everyone posted, but please keep her on your prayer list. Thanks!

Awarded
Just wanted to share that Jason was named Fireman of the year for the City of Pasadena. I am proud as he worked so hard to get the job and it shows his dedication and how hard he works. They will have a banquet where he will be awarded this honor. I can't believe he got this award and never had to parade in a bathing suit or answer questions!
If you go to our April 28 2009 post you will see us at the banquet last year where he was awarded a medal for a call they ran on.

Mammoth Sized Adventure
I was so disappointed because most of our Mammoth pictures came out blurry. But I guess it was better to have a great time and bad pictures than a terrible time and good pictures! We had a blast in Mammoth. We celebrated Christmas with Jason's folks and Daniel and Jenn (All of those pics were too dark). Here are the boys donning their snow bib before we go snowmobiling. Which they loved and ask everyday when we will do it again!
Here is Thomas ready to go.

Snowman made when we took a break from snowmobiling to eat lunch.

Sled run made in Jason's parents back yard. James is ready to go.

Holiday Fun
It all started with the ending of the advent calendar. The boys loved it. What a better thing than to have a piece of Chocolate everyday.

Our Christmas Gingerbread Train.

Christmas morning (actually Eve for us) Santa came early!
James only wanted a Wall E laptop and here he is opening it.
Thomas opening his Cars laptop.
Their new favorite game tire fishing!
On Christmas Eve at my Aunts house Santa Grandpa visited. The boys knew he wasn't the real deal!

Christmas Day at the fire station. Jason was able to drive the boys around the block in the fire truck. They were all smiles from ear to ear.
Thomas ride down the fire pole!
James' ride down the fire pole!

One of the firemen bought the boys this shirt. Classic!

Santa visited on Christmas Eve as Jason had to work Christmas Day. We went in the evening to The Wisdom's house and celebrated there. Christmas day included a trip to Jason's fire station again followed with dinner and more presents at my parents house. We will be going to Mammoth in January to celebrate with Jason's folks. Here are some pictures from both days. Enjoy! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
