From Boring Old White to Fabulous

Jason finished tonight redoing the bathroom. It was old and white. The shower was in great condition so he left it alone. He did however paint, tile, and put in a new vanity, mirror, and new bathroom fixtures. I especially love the new tile floor. I don't have before pics but here are the after. We have a shower curtain but we like to have it off as it is easier to bathe the boys. Thanks to my cousin Sarah for letting me copy her bathroom decorations! I am so Thankful Jason is sooooo handy.

Prayer Answered in Due Time

Jason and I have been praying ever since the boys were born that I would find someone to job share with. That means sharing one classroom and working 2/3 days per week. Every year my hopes were up and at the last minute the plans were not approved. I did not think about it at all this summer due to my previous upsets and my principal called me last week and said she found the right person for me to job share with. We met last week and are officially job sharing! I will now be working part time and can spend more time with my favorite past times, Jason, Thomas and James. Prayer is answered, but on God's timetable!

Picnic

We had a chance to go to the Pasadena Fire Department Picnic. The boys got to squirt the fire hose and then get sprayed by it. The highlight though was the fire truck inflatable slide. The boys were in it almost the whole picnic. What a great babysitter it was!

Visitors

It has taken a while to blog as we have been busy. Jason is almost done redoing the bathroom (I will post a picture once he is finished) and my nieces came out to visit. Thomas and James had a great time meeting their cousins. Everyday they asked to see more cousins. Here are some pictures from their visit. The youngest are twins - sophia and Trinity. The oldest is Tori and the middle is Moira. We took the girls to a pizza place and the boys loved playing air hockey and skeeball. Thanks for the great visit and we hope to see you all soon. We miss you!

No Cavities

The boys went for their dentist appt. and they both have good teeth and no cavities! Thanks again to Grandpa Hansen for the great referral. We really enjoy Dr. Coy. Both boys cried though because we could hear them from the waiting room. When I asked each one why they cried, they said the light was too bright. Next time we'll take sunglasses!

Prayer Request

My cousin Sarah's baby is going in for his ninth surgery. To read more about it go to www.fuccillofamily.blogspot.com. Please pray for them as they are devastated, worried and questioning God. They have had a long road please keep them in your prayers.

Cash Crop

Does anyone have tomato recipes? We have too many cherry tomatoes to eat. Actually they taste wonderful. We eat them like grapes! Just thought I'd share the picture.
