Dining with character
Last night we went to a character dinner at Disneyland. We went with Grandma and Grandpa Ward, Josh, Kathy and Kash. The boys enjoyed the food, dancing with the characters and taking pictures.
The boys loved goofy!

Welcome Home
Jason finally made it home today safe and sound. It's nice to have my husband back. The boys were so happy words cannot express the joy when Jason walked through the door. The boys had their first sports class. They learned basketball skills today. They learned defense, how to dribble, pass, shoot and block. Next week they get to learn baseball skills, followed by football and soccer. I'll have Jason take pictures when he takes them to their class next week.

Faces
Thomas' new thing is face making. Enjoy the Pictures. Update on Jason. He is still not home. They are keeping him and his crew around in case the winds cause the fire to get out of control. The boys and I miss him terribly but the good news is he is safe and he should be home by Monday. We hope it is sooner though.

Still putting out flames
I just talked to Jason and he is 12 hours into his 24+ hour shift. He should hopefully get a sleeping break around 12:00 tomorrow and he will call me back then. They are on a mountain ridge right now putting out hot spots. He said they will be there all night. The wind has died down and they are hoping that it stays that way. I will update as I hear more. Thanks for the kind comments and phone calls.

Fire
Keep Jason in your prayers as he is up fighting the wild fires in Santa Barbara. He left yesterday. What I learned was they fight the fire for 12 hours and then get 12 hours rest. When I was watching the news they said no one was taking a break, so maybe they will work longer than that. As for days away. They can keep him for 14 days before he is sent home. Hopefully he will be home sooner than that. I will write more when I hear more but keep his safety in you prayers. Thanks.
